This pair of Indian trade guns is typical of guns traded or gifted to Indians in colonial America. The stocks are painted red and the mounts are wrought brass. The engraved locks are signed "Brooks" and the barrels carry Jack's "IB" stamp as well as English proof marks. The dragon side plate, thumb piece, and butt plate finials are hand engraved with authentic patterns.
