This flintlock rifle is made in the style of Allentown, PA. The curly maple stock is decorated with floral carving, two silver inlays, and brass wire inlay around the dome lid patch box. The wood is finished with a red violin varnish. The patch box and inlays are engraved. Indian head inlay and the arrowhead side plate are classic Allentown motifs. The Germanic style lock was made by Jack from his own castings. Lock, stock, and barrel have been artificially aged to reproduce the look and feel of a fine antique.
